Recently, Taizhou Inspection and Quarantine in the entry quarantine of a coal ship from Indonesia, found that a crew member held a health certificate suspected of forgery. After verification, it was confirmed that the health certificate is a forgery, the quarantine personnel in accordance with the "State Border Sanitary and Quarantine Law Enforcement Rules," the relevant provisions of the law, the implementation of its on-the-spot penalties.
The Health Certificate is an important document that proves that a person has passed a health examination. Ocean-going crew holding fake "health certificate" behavior will seriously affect the normal port of entry and exit of personnel disease monitoring, to the transmission of infectious diseases through the port to leave a major potential risk. In order to deter and combat such illegal behavior, Taizhou Bureau, on the one hand, to strengthen the monitoring of infectious diseases on the ocean-going crew, quarantine personnel boarding quarantine strictly audit the Chinese crew's "health certificate", holding a fake or invalid "health certificate" of the crew, supervise its physical examination within the specified time, on the other hand, improve the quarantine personnel on the ability to identify ***, found suspicious or forged certificates, on-the-spot seizure of evidence in time for clear and substantiated facts, make a report. The forgeries with clear facts and solid evidence will be subject to administrative penalties in accordance with the relevant regulations.
