Fixed Pressure Water Mist Fire Extinguishing System for Ships

The fixed pressure water-spraying fire extinguishing system is an automatic sprinkler fire suppression device. It is primarily installed in passenger and crew living quarters, service areas (such as kitchens and storerooms). The system consists of sprinklers mounted on the ceiling of protected compartments, connected piping networks, a water supply pump, and a pressure cabinet. When sprinkler heads encounter temperatures between 68°C and 79°C, the support for the fusible alloy or heat-sensitive element fails, causing the glass bulb at the outlet to break and release water. This triggers automatic water discharge for fire suppression while simultaneously activating an alarm signal. Sprinklers are typically installed at a density of one per 6 to 10 square meters, ensuring an average discharge rate of no less than 5 liters per minute per square meter of protected area.

1. One fire pump, one starter box, one isolation valve, six fire hydrants, six hose boxes, and six dual-purpose fire nozzles must be installed.

2. Firefighting water sources may utilize lake water or campus fire hydrant water, with outlet pressure ranging from 3 kg to 6 kg. Fire hydrants and fire hoses (with hose length no less than

Fire hoses (20m) and hose reel cabinets are distributed across the upper and lower levels of the fire equipment compartment.

3. Fire hoses painted according to marine standards, including installation, commissioning, and auxiliary materials.
