Description
Electrical Engineering Laboratory Bench
Technical Specifications for Marine Electrician Training Benches
1. The equipment must be electrical training equipment developed in accordance with the requirements of the “Implementation Measures for the ” (Haishen [2019] No. 340). It must be capable of supporting experiments for marine electricians and meet the requirements for the practical training and assessment of seafarers in marine electrical work.
2. The training bench features a two-tiered, matte-finish, fine-textured powder-coated steel frame. The worktop is made of fire-resistant, wear-resistant high-density fiberboard. The bench has a sturdy, rectangular, enclosed design and is equipped with drawers and storage cabinets for convenient storage of various accessories. The training bench is equipped with four swivel casters, two of which have foot brakes, making it easy to move or secure in place.
3. The power control panel features a double-layer, matte-finish, textured powder-coated steel structure with a powder-coated steel front panel. It provides a main AC power supply with fixed outputs of three-phase 380V and single-phase 220V, and supplies common marine AC control power, such as 24V, via transformer isolation. The power outputs feature overcurrent and short-circuit protection, with meter indicators. It also provides DC power supplies, such as 24V, with meter indicators.
4. Safety Protection: The three-phase power supply from the utility grid passes through a key switch and an AC contactor to an isolation transformer before reaching the various modules, ensuring that the training circuit is completely isolated from the utility grid and effectively protecting the operator’s safety. An earth leakage circuit breaker is installed to automatically cut off the main power supply in the event of a leakage current during training, ensuring personal safety. If a measuring instrument is connected incorrectly or exceeds its measurement range, the system automatically enters a protective state to prevent damage to the instrument. The system features a timed alarm recorder that allows users to set training duration, configure timed alarms, cut off power, and enable overvoltage and overcurrent protection. These features provide safety protection for students and assist instructors in managing the equipment.
▲To ensure the safe and reliable performance of the equipment, the equipment manufacturer must provide a copy of the Computer Software Copyright Registration Certificate issued by the National Copyright Administration for the software of the timed alarm recorder. The copyright must be owned by the supplier of the electrical workbench equipment, not by an individual or any other entity. A photocopy of the relevant certificate must be provided, and the original must be available for on-site inspection.
