[Eligibility Requirements]
1. Support the leadership of the Communist Party of China, be willing to serve the cause of socialist modernization, possess good moral character, and abide by laws and regulations.
2. Individuals with at least three years of work experience after completing a bachelor's degree (from graduation to September 1, 2017, same below); or individuals who have obtained a nationally recognized associate degree and possess at least five years of work experience, demonstrating academic qualifications equivalent to a bachelor's degree graduate; or individuals who have obtained a master's or doctoral degree and possess at least two years of work experience.
3. In good health and meeting the required physical examination standards.
[Registration Procedures]
Registration consists of two stages: online registration and on-site registration. Both stages are mandatory.
1. Online registration period: October 10–31, 2016, daily from 9:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Late applications will not be accepted, and registration information cannot be modified after the deadline.
Candidates must log in to the “China Graduate School Admissions Information Network” (public website address:http://yz.chsi.com.cn,http://yz.chsi.cn(hereinafter referred to as “Graduate Admissions Network”) to review the application guidelines. Follow the instructions from the Ministry of Education, provincial education examination authorities, designated test centers, and the Graduate School of Dalian Maritime University (website:http://grs.dlmu.edu.cnCandidates must register online as required by the official announcement. Applicants should select the designated test center specified by the provincial education admissions examination authority in their place of employment or household registration to complete online registration and on-site confirmation procedures. The university code is “10151,” the department code is “013,” and the *** code is “125100.” During the online registration period, candidates may modify their submitted information independently.
During the registration period, academic credentials will undergo online verification, with results provided within three days of submitting application information. Applicants may check verification status online at any time. Alternatively, applicants may log in to the “China Higher Education Student Information Network” (website:http://www.chsi.com.cnCandidates should verify their academic credentials. Those whose credentials fail verification must promptly obtain certification from an authorized academic credential verification agency and submit the certification report to the test center for verification during on-site confirmation.
2. The specific on-site confirmation schedule will be determined and announced by each provincial education admissions examination authority based on local application circumstances.
Candidates must bring their personal ID card, academic credentials, degree certificates, the ‘Ministry of Education Electronic Registration Report" (obtained by logging into the "China Higher Education Student Information and Career Center" website), and their online application number to the designated test center for on-site confirmation.
Candidates must carefully review and confirm their online application information. Once confirmed, application information cannot be modified. Candidates shall bear full responsibility for any consequences arising from errors in their submitted information.
3. From December 15 to December 26, 2016, candidates who have completed online registration and on-site confirmation may log in to the “Graduate Admissions Network” using their online registration username and password to download and print their Admission Ticket. Neither side of the Admission Ticket may be altered during its period of use. Candidates must present both the downloaded and printed Admission Ticket and their valid resident ID card to take the examination.
[Qualification Review]
During the re-examination, candidates' academic credentials, *** reports, and other application materials will undergo a secondary review. Those who fail to meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Education will not be admitted to the re-examination.
Any individual found to have engaged in fraudulent activities, regardless of when such activities are discovered, will have their examination eligibility, admission status, or student status revoked in accordance with the relevant regulations of Dalian Maritime University.
[Examination]
The MBA entrance examination consists of two stages: the preliminary examination and the re-examination.
1. Preliminary Examination
The names and codes of the preliminary examination subjects are as follows:
Unit 1 Subject: Management Comprehensive Ability (199), maximum score 200 points. (Specific content and requirements are subject to the 2017 Management Joint Entrance Examination Syllabus).
Subject for Unit 2: English II (204) or Russian (202) or Japanese (203). The foreign language exam is worth a maximum of 100 points.
Examination Date: December 24, 2016. Specific times are subject to the admission ticket.
2. Second-round interview
The re-examination cutoff score will be determined based on the initial examination cutoff score uniformly set by the Ministry of Education and the specific application situation, and the list of candidates for re-examination will be finalized.
[Study Methods and Tuition Fees]
Method: Study while employed using spare time, with a flexible academic system spanning 2 to 4 years.
Tuition: 65,000–70,000 RMB per person (subject to approval by the Price Bureau; fees will be charged according to the approved standard)
[Examination, Thesis Defense, and Graduation]
In accordance with the relevant regulations of the Ministry of Education concerning Master of Business Administration (MBA) graduate students, MBA candidates who have completed all required courses and credits as stipulated in the training program may proceed to the thesis research and writing phase upon review and approval by the Graduate School of Dalian Maritime University. Upon completing the thesis and passing the defense, and following approval by the University Degree Committee, Dalian Maritime University will award the graduate a nationally printed Master's Degree Certificate and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Degree Certificate supervised by the Academic Degrees Office of the State Council.
