Simulated Fire Chamber Basic Configuration
There are two compartments in the upper and lower decks, with passages, straight or inclined ladders, manholes, fire doors, ventilation tubes, and more than 2 burn points (pools or boxes) are preset. 1 smoke generator, 2 search and rescue simulators, 2 marine stretchers, 2 first-aid boxes, 4 marine radios, 1 trolley-type foam fire extinguisher, 1 portable foam device, 2 fire blankets, 2 0.1m3 sandboxes, 2 portable fire extinguishers.
Structural construction of simulated fire fighting compartments
It is divided into upper and lower levels. Upper level: there is a driver's station, with the necessary communication and liaison equipment on board, fixed fire detection and alarm system; the lower level is divided into multi-functional simulation training area:
(1) There is a power distribution room, a corridor (passageway)/open air room and fenced cabin.
(2) There is an escape route that meets the requirements of the cabin (the escape route should be equipped with a fire door);
(3) A ventilation system shall be provided throughout the simulation chamber;
(4) A manual type alarm device conforming to the requirements of the ship shall be provided near the entrance to the training area;
(5) The floor space of the entire simulation chamber is suitable for the functional and practical training requirements of the training;
(6) Be indicated by necessary cautionary or explanatory signs;
(7) 1 set of fixed water fire extinguishing system, including 1 fire pump, 1 isolation valve; 6 fire hydrants, 6 hoses and 6 belt boxes, 6 dual-purpose fire guns, with water sources such as wells or pools, and all the equipment and facilities shall be in line with the standard for ships.
(8) Pressure water mist fire extinguishing system, carbon dioxide fire extinguishing system, foam fire extinguishing system, dry powder fire extinguishing system, 1 set each.
(9) One set of general emergency alarm system for ships, including wired telephone, siren, electric alarm and broadcasting equipment.
(10) 1 set of fixed fire detection and alarm system, the detection part includes not less than 2 temperature-sensitive, smoke-sensitive detectors, and not less than 2 manual fire alarm buttons; it can automatically respond to the alarms of detectors and buttons; and carry out acoustic and visual alarms, and at the same time, it can also carry out self-checking, testing and other operations.
