Marine Instrumentation is a core skills course in the five-year higher vocational education program for Marine Technology, and also one of the practical examination subjects for the Third Officer Certificate of Competency. Through this course, students primarily learn the basic functions, components, structure, principles, operation, and maintenance of marine instruments. It cultivates students' fundamental ability to use and maintain marine instruments, equipping them with the essential competencies required for marine officers in operating such equipment. Its prerequisite course is Marine Instruments.
【Performance Features】
- The NRT-1000 is an emergency communication device for lifeboats (rafts) with a low power consumption design that ensures the device can work continuously for more than 96 hours.
- When the NRT-1000 receives a 9GHz radar signal trigger, it automatically transmits a pulse signal that creates 12 dots on the radar screen to locate the position of the life raft in distress.
- The NRT-1000 complies with IMO A.802(19), IEC 61097-1 and other international norms and standards.
