August 15, 2024, Hefei Recently, Wuhan Yirun Technology Co., Ltd. successfully completed the relocation project for the entire marine engineering training base at Anhui Transportation Vocational and Technical College. Facing the technical risk of potential total failure after moving outdated equipment, the company's technical team rose to the challenge. Within 60 days, they efficiently relocated and upgraded two major training labs and over 40 sets of critical equipment. All operational equipment now functions normally, earning high praise from the college.
Project Challenge: The ”Technical Test” of Relocating Aging Equipment”
This relocation involves core practical training equipment for the marine engineering program, including:

The greatest challenge of the project lies in the fact that most equipment has been in use for over 15 years, presenting issues such as aging wiring and poor system compatibility. The university initially feared the equipment would become completely obsolete after relocation. “The most surprising result was the 6350Z diesel engine,” stated the university's project lead. ”After being overhauled by the Yirun team, this three-year-old decommissioned unit now outperforms its pre-relocation specifications across all parameters.”
A New Benchmark for Industry-Education Integration
The new training base officially commenced operations in September 2024, featuring the following key characteristics:

Establish a ”Device Health Monitoring Cloud Platform” to display all operational parameters in real time.

An AR fault simulation system has been added, capable of generating 30 typical fault scenarios.

Redesign the piping color identification system in accordance with modern ship engine room standards.


The technical team successfully started the 6350Z diesel engine, with university representatives witnessing the event on-site.
